HTW Berlin, Machine Economy Lab, Jun 2026 to today
The flagship project of the Machine Economy Lab, a registered research project running 2026 to 2029. We're building a trustless payment layer for autonomous machines: robots, drones and delivery vehicles confirm their own work and release payment from a Solana escrow smart contract. No human in the loop.
Proof of delivery comes from GPS geofencing, a QR code scan at handover, or an AI agent that checks the delivery visually.

Water supply for Tesla Gigafactory 4
Jugend forscht 2022, with Kevin Ehrentraut
We analyzed how much water the Gigafactory near Berlin needs and what that means for the region, then evaluated ways to use less. The study won the Special Award for Resource Efficiency from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment.
